Oracle: Tantric Tarot Today

The gazing ball = PROPHECY “Can we foretell the future?”

In the Garden, the Gazing Ball stops us dead in our tracks by suddenly displaying our own reflection.  It reminds us of our role as interpreters, thinkers, feelers and storytellers. Someone created the Garden, someone else must make sense of it and explain it to yet another someone. If we are quiet and accepting, the Gazing Ball may show scenes of Past and Future; or symbols and visions we have yet to recognize. The secret is to allow our fear to sleep and ask questions phrased as simply as we can. The best question of all is: what do I need to see?  You might not understand the “answer” just at first; remember, answers evolve as people evolve their understanding.

Who can predict the future? If you could, would you perform the same actions all over again? What do you regret? Sometimes grief lies in wait for us at our happiest moments. Would you change anything? How about altering your Soulmate, fellow traveler on life’s journey? Would you roll the dice again?

Skeptics say a stopped clock is right twice a day, but whatever the causation, sometime prophecies come true. A creeping suspicion comes out of nowhere – manifesting as reality. We guessed the truth. This magical card in our spread confers the gift of prophecy – we are going to be right about some future event; often one where we have been discredited or disbelieved. To cultivate our gift we need a SoulMate, to help us think about past present and future. SoulMates teach us to make all choices with our eyes fully open, including our Wisdom Eye. SoulMates give each other the secret to trust and understand. What fresh new worlds might we create with our clear and doubled minds?

Cedarwood Chest

Grandpa died young that’s why
Grandma never opened
The Cedarwood chest
Till my twelve years unlocked
The scent of dreams preserved
Like mullet in red wine.

Never used the wilting nightgowns
Featherstitched sheets
Between whose coffee-colored creases
Bay leaves crumbled
(like my reserve when you laid hands
upon it)

how it comes back that mossy sad
perfume! I want to lay
you away in darkness and tissue but
I can’t
I must use you and risk
Your wearing out
